Airing of the Quilts and Sale TOMORROW!

Tomorrow is our Airing of the Quilts and Sale at Berrima Patchwork. From 10am till 3pm we will have a display of local quilters and teachers work both inside the shop and outside - that is correct we have expanded this years airing of the quilts to the outdoors! The shop will be open from 10am till 4pm and we will be holding a sale on fabric in the shop and online (details below).

On the 9th February we will be holding our Airing of the Quilts and annual sale. On this day we will have a display of our students' and local quilters' works.  You will have the opportunity to sign up for workshops and the Quilting in the Highland Retreat. Also on the 9th February we are holding a sale on ALL fabrics (this includes all pre-cut fat quarters, fabric bundles and rolls) Please note you need to have been a signed up member to the Stash Club prior to the 1st February 2013 to receive the full discount of 25%. The sale excludes batting/wadding/Vliesofix/Pellon/interfacing and fabrics which are already marked on special. A 50cm minimum cut of fabric off the bolt will apply. Airing of the Quilts 2012

On Saturday Berrima Patchwork held it's annual Airing of the Quilts and Sale. Unfortunately the weather forecast was for rain so we held it indoors in our large classroom. The quilts on display included samples from our teachers, quilting in the Highland retreat teachers and local quilters. Thank-you to everyone who helped on the day and to everyone who attended and supported us. Enjoy the slide show from the day.

Berrima Patchwork - Airing of the Quilts

We have just held our Airing of the Quilts and Sale. It was a very busy day and it was great to see some many familiar faces and many new ones. Over the pass year we expanded the shop which meant there was one less room to hang all the quilts, despite this we had more quilts to show this year. In total there were over 50 quilts on display, display of upcoming class projects and Bernina Club projects.

2010 Airing of the Quilts and SALE

Yesterday was our Airing of the Quilts and annual sale which was a huge success. We had three rooms full of quilts by not only our teachers but also local quilters. Over 50 quilts were on display from quilters who had taken classes with us over the past year and other quilts they have been working on. Our teachers Kay Haerland, Jennie Osborne and Christine Sands were on hand to talk to everyone about their upcoming classes. We were also fortunate to have with us also Thea from Bernina who demonstrated the sewing machines and overlockers for us. The local newspaper came by to take photos of the day so keep an eye out in the paper for some photos! Thank-you to everyone who helped make this day a success.
