I received an email from on of our customers Peggy from America today and thought I would share this with you and the photo she sent.
"Back in February, I ordered some fabric from you -- kangaroos and koalas -- to make a baby quilt for a friend here in the U.S. (she's from Australia, married to an American and this is her first baby) Well, the fabric arrived and the quilt got made and we had a baby shower for her today. I thought you'd like to see what I did with the fabric that you sent. Thank you so much for getting the fabric to me so quickly -- the mom-to-be loved the quilt and was totally shocked that I'd ordered it from Australia for her. I think she was pleased to have a little something from "home"!"

New Fabric in Store: Under the Australian Sun

It is so nice to see a range of fabrics that not only features Australian Wildflowers but also has been designed by an Australian. Under the Australian Sun was designed by Leesa Chandler (of Chandler's Cottage) for Robert Kaufman Fabrics, and how luck are we - it got released here in Australia before the US! It features big rich decadent Australian Flowers - including waratah's, gum blossom, gum leaves and other designs and has a trace of gold outline in it. The range has been selling well in the shop and we have the full collection. It is only $22 per metre! It is a must see range fantastic.

Changing Colour of the Seasons

Many of you who have visited the shop over the years will know that the two tree at the front of the shop are amazing throughout the year. In Summer they have this flower/blossom and then in Spring the turn stunning shades of red and year. Here are a few picture of the trees currently.
