 Bernina February Specials are now available.

Bernina Workshop

Do you own a Bernina 3 series, 5 series or Aurora 440? 

On Saturday 22nd February we will be running a workshop: Get To Know Your Bernina Sewing Machine 

In this one session you will get to know your Bernina like never before. Starting with the basic including setup and threading, we then go through the wonderful world of decorative stitches. Get to know all your feet including BSR and buttonholes, and finish off with the maintenance of your machine. You’ll go home with a workbook filled with all your samples and simple to follow instructions, not to mention the custom workbook front cover decorated by you! After the class you will have complete confidence to drive your Bernina in any creative direction you see fit. This workshop will be taught by the Bernina NSW Trainer Bree. Berrima Patchwork Stash Club

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO 

BERRIMA PATCHWORK STASH CLUB MEMBERSHIP 

For the past 6 years we have run the Berrima Stash Club with no annual fees. We thank those who are members for their support during this time. As of 2014 we will be making changes to the Club - there will be an annual membership fee. Members will receive a 10% discount on purchase over $25, excluding workshops/classes, and Sewing Machines/Accessories. You will also receive an additional discount on our sale days and each month there will be a special of the month exclusive to Berrima Stash Club Members. 

As of January 2014 the Yellow Stash Club Card will no longer be accepted. 

For those of you who have been members of the Berrima Patchwork Stash Club we are offering a discount until the end of January on renewing your membership. The fee will be $20. New Fabric in Store - Fairy Briar

A new delivery of fairy fabric has just arrived in store.It is called Fairy Briar. 

 

This beautifully painted collection combines two ongoing trends: Nostalgic themes in prints (particularly for children) and soft botanical designs with French Flair. The fairies have a hand-drawn look (the art was painted in watercolour) that will appeal to all ages. Art Nouveau design aesthetic and gold metallic outlines make the sweet look sophisticated. We have just had another delivery of New Kaffe Fassett Fabrics arrive in store. Perfect fabric for making a bright new quilt.

New in Store: Mariposa

New fabric range in store called Mariposa. Gentle illustration and serene color shine through in this beautiful fabric collection. Mariposa features the uniquely delicate lines of a butterfly wing through a soft watercolor wash enhanced by a touch of ink Available in store now.

Down Under Quilts

Check out the latest edition of Down Under Quilts which is currently on sale issue #161.
 

This issue features one of Tamsin's quilts: Cantik. This quilt features the beautiful batik range Cantik Batiks which is available in Stores now. It's a great quilt that would look good in a range of fabrics.

 

The quilt was pieced together on my Bernina Aurora 440 and then quilted using the Bernina 830.
Variegated thread - Rainbows by Superior Thread was used for the quilting.
