At the International Fall Quilt Market in Houston this year there were some amazing displays showing the newest in fabric, books, notions and everything quilting.
Paula Nadelstern always has a great display that never disappoints. Last year at market Paula had created this balls using her new fabrics for Benartex and used beads, sequins and more to embellish them. When I saw them I just stopped, they were so beautiful. This year Paula has incorporated these balls/spheres with several quilts designed by different quilters using her fabric collections for Benartex. I for one had always loved Paula's fabrics but had the problem of not knowing just what to do with them. It was great to see the different quilts, in a variety of styles to see how the fabric could be used. It was a great display and below are some photos that I took.
How large are these lovely balls? They appear to be about 3 feet around?
